To say that Catalunya is a sportsbike riders dream is still an understatement. The roads here seemed to have been inspired by the Spanish love of motorcycle racing. Its no wonder that 3 of the 4 top Spanish riders are in fact, all Catalan.
From the Pyrenean Mountains through to the long winding coastal roads, the entire county of Catalunya is full of twisting curving A and B roads. Due to the fact the entire rejoin is full of high hills and small mountains, not only are the roads great, but the scenery is simply magnificent. With more landmarks, castles and battlements than it’s possible to list, the places to visit or simply take a look at are endless.
The routes we ride will show you as much of the above as possible, although mainly chosen for the road condition and the ride they offer, we have where possible tried to add nice scenery and as many landmarks as possible. We generally cover between 200 and 400 km per day, depending on the preferences of our customers.
With 3 race tracks in Catalunya alone, 2 more in nearby Valencia (county) and another being built only 60 km from Barcelona itself, the offer on track days and race meeting viewing is plentiful and economical.
Barcelona
Thought by many to be the most multicultural city in Spain and maybe even Europe this city offers everything. The cultural aspect is amazing; the entire city is full of theatres, museums and buildings steeped in history.
If night life is what you are looking for, you need look no further. Either a laid back beer, sat outside one of the hundreds of bars that are all over the city, chatting the night away or dancing and partying in one of the many vibrant city disco’s, the choice is yours.
And for those of you that enjoy shopping, or have your partner with you who enjoys a walk around the shops. Again Barcelona can meet and maybe surpass your expectations, with a huge central shopping area which offers everything from top designer, large department stores right through to small privately owned specialised shops.
